Perfect for sharing at parties or enjoying as a satisfying snack!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

28 ounces frozen fries (wedge or thick-cut steak fries)

2 tablespoons truffle oil

2 tablespoons taco seasoning

1 ½ tablespoons truffle salt

1 pound New York strip steak (1-inch thick)

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

⅓ cup nacho cheese

Truff hot sauce (to taste)

4 ounces cheddar cheese (freshly shredded)

½ cup fresh tomatoes (diced)

Cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

  • Season the fries: Toss the frozen fries in a large mixing bowl with truffle oil, 1 ½ tablespoons taco seasoning, and 1 tablespoon truffle salt.

  • Prepare for baking: Spray a wire rack-lined baking sheet with non-stick oil and spread the seasoned fries evenly. Bake for about 18 minutes, following package instructions.

  • Cook the steak: Heat a skillet over high heat and season the steak with salt, pepper, and the remaining truffle salt. Sear the steak for about 4 minutes per side or until your desired doneness is reached. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.

  • Assemble the fries: Once fries are done, drizzle them with nacho cheese and Truff hot sauce.

  • Top with cheese and garnish: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

Add toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or jalapeños for extra flavor.

Swap steak for chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a different protein.

Experiment with Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese for more heat.

Add sautéed bell peppers or onions for extra veggies.
