  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

1 lb ground beef

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

4 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well; cook for 1–2 minutes to remove raw flour taste.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly, and simmer 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  4. Season gravy with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using. Remove from heat.
  5. Preheat oven according to pizza crust instructions, usually to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  7. Spread an even layer of warm gravy over the crust.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly on top.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  10. Remove pizza from oven and carefully crack eggs over the top.
  11. Return to oven and bake another 5–7 minutes until egg whites are set.
  12. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Keep the gravy thick but spreadable to avoid a soggy crust.

Gravy can be made a day ahead and reheated gently.

Use a pizza stone for extra crispiness.

Adjust egg baking time based on desired yolk doneness.

Reheat leftovers in the oven for best texture.
