Ingredients
1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
4 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
- Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well; cook for 1–2 minutes to remove raw flour taste.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly, and simmer 5–7 minutes until thickened.
- Season gravy with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using. Remove from heat.
- Preheat oven according to pizza crust instructions, usually to 425°F (220°C).
- Place pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread an even layer of warm gravy over the crust.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
- Remove pizza from oven and carefully crack eggs over the top.
- Return to oven and bake another 5–7 minutes until egg whites are set.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Keep the gravy thick but spreadable to avoid a soggy crust.
Gravy can be made a day ahead and reheated gently.
Use a pizza stone for extra crispiness.
Adjust egg baking time based on desired yolk doneness.
Reheat leftovers in the oven for best texture.
