Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel tomatoes, undrained
16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Once fully cooked, drain off any excess grease.
- Add the undrained Rotel tomatoes and cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet.
- Stir and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is completely melted and the dip is smooth.
- Stir in red pepper flakes if using.
- Serve warm immediately.
Notes
Use mild or hot Rotel tomatoes to control the spice level.
Ground turkey or sausage can be used instead of beef.
For a thicker dip, reduce heat and stir frequently.
Add a splash of milk when reheating if the dip thickens.
