Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4–6 oz each)
½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika (optional, adds color and a subtle smoky flavor)
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, basil, and thyme)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Olive oil or cooking spray (to grease the baking dish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the mayo-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top and sides of each chicken breast.
- Bake the chicken, uncovered, for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the sauce is golden and bubbly. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve.
Notes
Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad.
You can mix in shredded mozzarella or cheddar for a cheesier version of this dish.
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the mayonnaise.
