Homemade Croutons are a simple and flavorful addition to any meal. Made with just a few ingredients, these baked whole-grain croutons add crunch to soups, salads, and casseroles. Quick to make, healthier than store-bought, and fully customizable.

Ingredients

4 slices of whole grain bread

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the bread into ½-inch cubes.
  3. Toss bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
