Homemade Big Mac Wraps With Special Sauce offer a fun twist on the classic Big Mac, featuring juicy ground beef, crisp lettuce, zesty onions, cheddar cheese, and a creamy special sauce—all wrapped up in a soft tortilla.

  • Total Time: 1 hr 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 wraps (serves 4–6)

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced onions

8 slices of cheddar cheese

1 cup dill pickle slices

For the Special Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons French dressing

1 tablespoon sweet relish

1 tablespoon finely minced onion

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon granulated sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet relish, minced onion, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until fully browned. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.
  3. Warm the flour tortillas gently in a clean skillet over low heat or in the microwave for about 20 seconds until they become pliable.
  4. Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Start by spreading a generous layer of the special sauce over each tortilla. Add a layer of shredded lettuce and diced onions on top of the sauce.
  5. Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the center of each tortilla. Top with slices of cheddar cheese and pickle slices.
  6. Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, securing the filling inside. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
  7. Serve the wraps immediately, sliced in half if desired, with any additional special sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Use whole wheat or spinach tortillas for a healthier version.

Substitute ground turkey, chicken, or a plant-based meat alternative for a different protein option.

Try a tangier sauce by using ranch dressing and mustard as a substitute for the special sauce ingredients.
