8 mini bagels, split
¼ cup pizza sauce
⅓ cup shredded pizza cheese blend
16 slices turkey pepperoni (such as Hormel)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Arrange the bagels, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon a thin layer of pizza sauce over each bagel half.
- Sprinkle the shredded pizza cheese evenly over the sauce on each bagel.
- Place two slices of turkey pepperoni onto each bagel half.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the pepperoni is lightly browned.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, skip the pepperoni and use veggies like mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions.
Feel free to swap the shredded pizza cheese blend for mozzarella or cheddar.
To spice things up, add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes before baking.
Whole wheat bagels can be used for a healthier alternative.
