A Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich with seasoned chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, fresh Romaine lettuce, Parmesan, and juicy cherry tomatoes, all in a buttery, flaky croissant.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 sandwiches

Ingredients

2 large croissants, halved

1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded

1/2 cup Caesar dressing

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped

8 cherry tomatoes, halved

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with Caesar dressing. Stir well until the chicken is thoroughly coated.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  3. While the chicken heats, cut each croissant in half horizontally. Butter the inner side of each croissant half lightly with unsalted butter.
  4. Place the buttery side of the croissants down on the skillet and toast for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  5. On the bottom half of each toasted croissant, layer chopped Romaine lettuce evenly.
  6. Spoon the warm chicken mixture over the lettuce, ensuring it’s spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  8. Add halved cherry tomatoes for an extra burst of flavor.
  9. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  10. Place the top half of the croissant over the filling to complete the sandwich.
  11. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

For a healthier option, use whole wheat croissants or low-calorie versions.

Add avocado slices for extra creaminess and flavor.

Swap chicken for turkey or grilled shrimp for a different protein.

Feel free to add extra veggies like cucumber or red onion for added crunch.
