Butter-Toasted Ravioli is a crispy, cheesy twist on classic pasta. Pan-fried in a savory butter and olive oil blend, these golden ravioli are finished with Parmesan and fresh parsley for a flavor-packed appetizer or main course that’s quick and satisfying.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 lb refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add ravioli and cook according to package directions (about 5–7 minutes for fresh, longer if frozen). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp. Flip and toast the other side for another 3–4 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the ravioli and gently toss to coat. Let cheese melt slightly for 1 minute.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

Use beef, spinach, or mushroom ravioli for different flavors.

Air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes instead of pan-frying.

Add breadcrumbs for extra crunch before adding cheese.

Try with other dipping sauces like pesto or Alfredo.

Reheat leftovers in a skillet or oven for best texture.
