Ingredients
3–5 lb bone-in or boneless turkey breast
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp herbes de Provence or poultry seasoning
1 tsp kosher salt (optional)
1 tsp black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the turkey breast from its packaging and pat it dry. Leave netting on if present.
- Rub olive oil over the turkey skin. Sprinkle with herbes de Provence, adding salt and pepper if desired. Coat all sides evenly.
- Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and cook for 20 minutes.
- Use tongs to flip the turkey and cook an additional 30 minutes at 350°F.
- Check the internal temperature using an instant-read thermometer. Look for 145°F in the center of a boneless breast or near (but not touching) the bone in a bone-in breast.
- If not at temperature, return to the air fryer and continue cooking at 350°F, checking every 5–10 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer the turkey to a platter, cover with foil, and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Swap herbes de Provence for poultry seasoning for a classic flavor.
Add garlic powder or smoked paprika for a deeper, smokier taste.
For boneless turkey, rub softened butter under the skin to boost richness.
Use a thermometer rather than cooking time to prevent overcooking.
